My first bike was a 50cc Indian mini bike that I got when I was 14. What a cool bike. It was street legal and when I turned 15 I used to ride it to school. Over the years I had a few dirt bikes until 1984, when my last dirt bike was stolen. I didn’t have another bike until 1998 when a good friend gave me a 1988 Yamaha Virago 750 that he claimed was just lying around. My first street bike- finally! I fixed it up and rode it around until 2006 when the need for maintenance became to great. In April 2007 my parents surprised me with an early birthday present- the Honda VTX 1300 which I rode till August 2010. Thats when I decided to change to a sport touring bike and traded it in for a 2010 Honda VFR, I am loveing it,
The extent of my riding between April and November of 2007 consisted of rides with my brother, Freebird. It was Archer who first talked my brother about the SCRC. My brother gave me a call and although I was hesitant at first he convinced me to go on a ride with the group the following weekend, I am so glad he got me to go. The rest is history; I met a great bunch of people who love to ride as much as I do. I have had such great times with the SCRC 456.
