The first bike I owned was a Honda 90 which I got in 1970. I actually don’t remember what happened to it. It was Key West in the 70’s. Then I rode a 250, and finally, a Yamaha 500 up until I went into the Army in 1974. I bought a dirt bike while stationed in Ft. Benning , and after that I went many years without a motorcycle.
After 25 years of marriage, 2 kids, a mortgage and yada, yada, yada, the bug hit me again when a good friend of mine won a Harley in a drawing, and my neighbor bought a Honda Shadow. I put a few miles on his Honda and decided it was time to ride again.
Since it had been so many years since I had ridden, I bought a Harley Davidson 1200 Low Sportster in 2006. After a little over a year, I decided I needed something a little bigger and bought a Road King Classic. I’ve put almost 45,000 miles on the Road King and look forward to putting a lot more on it.
